Quicksilver Corporate Club

Join the Quicksilver Corporate Club - the official supporters' club of Britain's World Water Speed Record Challenge

Membership of the Quicksilver Corporate Club is enjoyed by a very broad spectrum of supporters, ranging from small and medium-sized companies - particularly owner-managed companies - larger companies and corporations, a variety of professional and vocational organisations, and private individuals from many walks of life. –

At special events held at regular intervals, the Quicksilver Corporate Club provides corporate hospitality and networking opportunities for members and their clients, suppliers and personnel - and other guests, such as media contacts, friends and family.

These activities are conducted alongside the speed-record project as it unfolds, providing a unique level of access to this exciting international engineering and sporting adventure.

There are now over 300 Corporate Club members - and they include several car clubs, two schools, a town council and a brewery!

Membership of the Quicksilver Corporate Club is obtained with a one-off enrolment fee of £395. There are no further charges, at any time, for the range of club benefits and services.

The rights and privileges of Quicksilver Corporate Club membership are as follows:

In a nutshell ...

Your name (or company name) displayed on Quicksilver

Although formed primarily for businesses - be they small, medium or large - the Quicksilver Corporate Club also welcomes individual members.
The result is a unique series of gatherings, literally alongside the Quicksilver craft as it is built, with members and their guests joining our challenge making water-speed history.

Corporate Club members pay a one-off fee, their names proudly displayed on the outer skin of Quicksilver, and also on their framed membership certificates, and they receive invitations to the special events we hold alongside the boat at our team HQ - next to the M1, in the centre of England - complete with complimentary buffet lunch and hot and cold refreshments.

There are no further charges of any kind, at any time, for either members or their guests after the one-off membership fee – and companies and self-employed people the fee can be offset against tax, as it counts as advertising and promotion of their business.
A unique differentiator for businesses in a competitive marketplace ...
Businesses invite customers, suppliers or personnel to Corporate Club events for memorable, informative visits, and to network – they can also invite reporters from their local or trade-sector press. Private individuals invite family and friends.
                  A butcher, a baker ... a firm making microscopes, a micro-brewery ...
There is no such thing as a "typical" Corporate Club member. As well as nearly 300 businesses in both the manufacturing and service sectors – predominantly owner-managed businesses, SMEs and self-employed people, but there are also several major PLCs – the membership includes two schools, several distinguished membership-based professional institutions, and a town council.

In addition, over 30 private individuals have joined the Corporate Club to date.
